Job Description
Performs clerical and support services to director and staff. Performs general clerical duties such as typing from copy, rough draft or Dictaphone machine. Performs responsible clerical work requiring good knowledge of departmental programs and a variety of policies and procedures. Answers and directs incoming phone calls, distributes mail, receives customers and schedules appointments. Maintains inventory of office supplies. Effectively communicates with members of the department and other customers. May be the department "super user" and/or department project coordinator.

Basic Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.Prefer medical background.Two years office experience, preferred.

Other Qualifications:
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.Ability to type 80 WPM.Proficient computer operation of various software (IDX, PIE, LEO, IBAX,Windows NT, WordPerfect 6.1, Word '97, Excel, Outlook 98, Outlook 98 Calendar, Internet).Good decision:making, communication and problem solving skills.Able to communicate with patients and staff and provide basic care.Able to assist in moving patients (may require lifting, pulling, pushing) with proper body mechanics.Demonstrates excellent Customer Service skills.

Hours/Pay Period: Half Time; 40 hours per pay period (20 hours per week)
Schedule Details: Monday through Friday: 7:45 am to 4:30pm
Weekend Schedule:

Compensation Detail: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is 12.00 per hour.
